Project Happy Camper

Since the horrific devastation of Hurricane Helene, we have found ways to network with, encourage, and support survivors in Western North Carolina.

We have raised over $10,000 to assist in relief efforts.

We have purchased sleeping bags, specialty baby formula, hygiene supplies, and an inflatable raft to assist with getting supplies to hard to reach places.

We will sponsor a twelve week DV Crisis Support Group for hurricane survivors with Megan Owen of Mountain City Christian Counseling.

We purchased 30 backpacks, and filled them with socks, underwear, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toys, games, Playdoh, art supplies, pop its, and glow sticks.

We are partnering with a school teacher in WNC who will distribute them to kids who need a bit of TLC.

We supported a food bank in Virginia that is near an affected area.

We sent specialty baby formula, storage containers, baby toys, and blankets to a Baby Hub that is supplying mamas in Burnsville, NC.

We launched Project Happy Camper, purchased our first camper, gave her a little TLC, filled her with household items, pantry staples, and toys for the kids.

We will deliver “Happy #1” the first week of November and she will be a safer, dryer, warmer shelter for a mama and two kiddos this winter.

We are coordinating the delivery of “Happy #2” soon after.

Our hearts are with those who have lost so much.

We will keep this reality in front of others, raise awareness, and find ways to help when we are able.

Donate here to help us continue supporting survivors at home and in WNC.
