Many survivors of Hurricane Helene are homeless an

Many survivors of Hurricane Helene are homeless and displaced after the horrifying disaster. We want to do what we can to help a family find a safe place to recover and heal. Happy Camper #1 was a labor of love project. Local friends helped with repairs and got her road worthy. We outfitted her with linens, bedding, household items, kitchenwares, cleaning supplies, emergency supplies, food, and backpacks filled with goodies for the kids. We delivered her on Thursday, November 7, and met her new family. Happy Camper #2 was delivered by a generous couple on Friday, November 8. They included linens, pots and pans, and more. HPM added blankets, pillows, and two totes filled with household supplies. THANK YOU to each one who made these temporary shelters possible.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Honor Project Movement is a nonprofit that is passionate about empowering women who are rebuilding after abuse.

For several reasons, we cancelled our Fall Gathering/Fundraiser, BUT WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!

In addition to serving local survivors with meetups, grocery showers, clothing swaps, furniture distribution, Mother’s Day gifts, Christmas blessings, and more, we…

* Support and resource thousands online in Held & Healed: Christian Women Rebuilding After Abuse

* Offer 1:1 resource coaching for hundreds

* Offer financial coaching groups with @debradoakcoach

* Offer DV Crisis support groups with @megandawnowen at Mountain City Christian Counseling, Corp.

Currently, we are looking for practical ways to serve survivors of Hurricane Helene.

In the past week, we have raised funds for:

* 30 cold weather sleeping bags

* 8 cans of speciality baby formula

* $1000 to put towards a DV Crisis Support Group for hurricane survivors

For Mother’s Day 2024, Honor Project Movement wa

For Mother’s Day 2024, Honor Project Movement was able to bless 20 mama with gift bags filled with pampering goodies (lotion bars, lip balms, salt scrubs, linen sprays, jade rollers, journals, and Burt’s Bees gift sets).

Some also received beautiful bouquets of fresh flowers.

Mother’s Day can be very difficult for survivor mamas, and our desire is that they feel seen and loved.

We hosted our first Clothing Swap this morning. W

We hosted our first Clothing Swap this morning.

We sorted through hundreds of articles of clothing, my guess is 1,000+ items.

The ladies who helped were able to go home with some “new to them” threads.

We filled bags to deliver to other locals mamas and kids.

The remaining donations will be given to local nonprofits who serve DV survivors.
